Jennie Baird is a longtime digital transformation, product and content executive with extensive experience working on high volume, high visibility consumer-facing websites and mobile apps as well as on the development and management of enterprise tools that power those products.

She has a passion for digital news and currently serves as Chief Product Officer of BBC Studios, where she is responsible for driving growth and audiences for the BBC’s digital news products around the globe. Jennie was instrumental in bringing the pioneering and award-winning website to market in the mid-1990s.

Later, she worked on a number of other large scale digital products—including AOL, iVillage, and Entertainment Weekly. She also co-founded the cult baby name website,, exiting with a sale to CafeMedia. More recently, Jennie was News Corp's Global Head of Product. Jennie loves working with teams to solve business and customer problems and bringing digital products to life.
